Moving to Oregon after growing up in Tennessee and spending my early twenties in Southern California, I've gotten the chance to fall in love with a whole new collection of animals. As such, here is a love letter to a freshwater fish that has no business being so pretty. The original painting is acrylic on canvas painted in June 2026.
